Daddy’s Gone Newest Hit from Nashville Bound
For Immediate Release
November 1, 2006
Nashville Bound, one of the surprise country bands of autumn riding to national glory on the internet, has released their 8th chart climber in 30 days with today’s release of Daddy’s Gone, a melancholy country ballet about divorce with a new twist. This time the father is the focus of composer Jim Putnam’s tune and it is about his effort to explain why it happened to the daughter he loves dearly.
Too many songs of this nature tell of the bitterness, heartbreak or blame and most are from the woman’s point of view. There is no blame in this classic, no bitterness, but a deep longing to help the young daughter so she won’t blame herself for what happened. Too often the children caught in the middle are scarred for life by the trauma of a break up and this is a lesson in how couples must think of more than themselves, but first the children, when facing such a sad time in life.
The song is available to hear on www.Soundclick.com under Nashville Bound, the artist. Listen to the lyrics, let the gifted musicians capture your emotions, and Daddy’s Gone will most certainly touch the heart strings of even the hardest among you, men or women.
Putnam the wordsmith and Nashville Bound have done it again. Don’t let this one get by you. Margarita You’re Such A Cheater, the rollicking country jive hit of Nashville Bound which reached #1 on the country swing charts has crossed over to country pop and is now in the top ten, marking the second top ten and 7th top 25 release in just 30 days. You have got to check out this Nashville band.
